From March 21st to March 25th, 2022, Schuler Auktionen will as part of their spring auction present a series of lots of Russian art. Among the works put up will be icons of the XVIII - XX centuries, the colour lithography “Place de la Concorde” by Marc Chagall, and the black-and-white composition “Exodus 24” by Peter Belenok.
From March 21st to March 25th, 2022, Schuler Auktionen will, as part of their spring auction, put up original military antiques from Europe and Asia - over 150 lots altogether. Among the top lots - a luxuriously decorated breastplate from a Milanese suit of armour from the XVI century, a large bascinet helmet from Northern Italy (XV century), a close helmet from Southern Germany (XVI century), a round Indo-Persian dhal shield (XIX century), and other unique lots.
The next scheduled auction at Schuler Auktionen will, from March 21st to March 25th, 2022, present unique works by European artists of the XVI-XX centuries. A prominent part of the auction will be the large series of works on the theme of religion by artists of the XVI century, a portrait of a man by a Venetian artist of the XVI century and a woman’s portrait in national attire by the hand of Franz von Defregger, “Two people: the lonely ones” etching by Edvard Munch, as well as peaceful Swiss landscapes by Emil Cardinaux and Frederic Rouge.
During the period from 31 January to 4 February, 2022, Hermann Historica will host the regular online auction and put up exclusive collectibles of European and Asian art, antiquities, an extensive collection of posters by Willi Engelhardt, and traditionally rare military antiques – body armour, uniform, helmets, military awards and decorations – in total 3689 lots.
From 13 to 17 of December 2021 Schuler Auktionen will host the traditional winter sale and will present a series of Russian art lots led by the genre crowd scene in a church, dated 1905, inspired by Russian fairy tales cloisonné decorative box in the form of an egg with a saucer featuring chicken legs, 1908-17, Pavel Ovchinnikov, and rare 17-19 century Russian icons.
During the period from 13 to 17 December, 2021, Schuler Auktionen will hold the traditional winter sale and will present rare works of European painters from the 15-21 century. The top lots are led by the peaceful landscape "Ice skating on Lower Lake" by Adolf Dietrich (1877-1957), the soft and pearly palette “Ferryman in his boat on a river coast” by Paul Désiré Trouillebert (1829-1900), the very rare painting with the Bible scene by Willem van Mieris, discovered after 200 years from the last sale, as well as high quality paintings from the 15-18 century Italian artists.
10 and 11 December, 2021, Dr. Fischer Kunstauktionen in Heilbronn will hold winter auction and put up rare Russian art and collectibles including rare porcelain, icons, military awards, and decorative arts. The sale will also feature drawings and paintings by Old Masters and modern artists, Asian art, 19-21 century furniture, Jugendstil, antique books and other collectibles – totally 2205 lots.
8 and 9 December, 2021, Karl & Faber will offer rare XX century paintings, drawings, collages and lithographs. The sale will be lead by the selected works including a shimmering and pearly “Femme nue à sa toilette” by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, presumably showing the painter and Renoir’s mistress Suzanne Valadon, meditative abstract composition by Serge Poliakoff, iconic square in green and grey by Josef Albers, “Clown” by Paul Klee inspired by childhood emotions, as well as other outstanding works.
